Dear Partner

Dear Partner,

In heaven, they watch as a young couple in Bethlehem enter into an enclosure holding various animals. They had to accept this enclosure which actually is not too bad. The reason was that there was no room for them in the area where the saddles and harnesses are stored. That area is full of other travelers.

On earth time, this happened 29 years ago. The husband's main concern was that it was about time for his pregnant wife to deliver. She had told him this would be an exceptional child. The husband also had experienced a vision confirming her story. He still does not fully understand its meaning. 

The night is filled with a strange anticipation that seems to electrify the air.  The heavens seem restless and there is a strange story circulating about a group that is on its journey to Bethlehem on a  mission. 

The night is pleasant and beautiful. A full moon is beaming down upon the town of Bethlehem and casting beautiful shadows upon its fields and homes. The husband vaguely remembers a story he heard when he sat at his Rabbi's feet concerning an event that soon would come to pass.

The town's activities are beginning to quieten and restful peace is settling over the weary travelers. They will sleep well after the days their caravan had taken to reach Bethlehem from Nazareth. 

Becoming drowsy, he wished to be through with the necessity of coming to Bethlehem and shortly, they will be able to start for home. He misses his shop and the quiet life they lived in Nazareth. He begins to reason "Oh well, tomorrow is one day closer."
