Dear Partner,

Today is the Fourth of July and most US citizens have no idea as to what this signifies. Two hundred forty-eight years ago on July the 2nd, the Continental Congress adopted the proposed resolution of the Declaration.  Two days later on July 4, 1776, they voted into law the Declaration of Independence.

This document was unique in that it changed the entire world as it freed the continental states from any dictatorial rule. It became the First Nation in history to constitute a representative form of government. This document was also unique in that it placed God Almighty as its foundation liberator.

For the first time in history, this document declared that everyone of its citizens was given by God Himself the right to life, unquenched freedom and that no authority could ever abridged anyone from these provisions. They were free to pursue their personal prosperity. The document clearly stated that every man is created equal and that God Almighty endued.  This means that God gave them their individual authority by this declaration which can never be successfully challenged.

We of Rapha have veterans and members of our extended families serving even today on foreign fields. All these and those of the past in their military time stood prepared to pay the supreme sacrifice should the situation require.

We fly flags and thank God for those who have worn the military uniform of this nation, male or female. We dedicate our blessings and benefits to these individuals and pledge ourselves of Rapha to pay homage to these our fellow countrymen. We are eternally grateful to those who went and came back, but we dedicate a special place in our heart's treasury for those who went and did not come back.

In Christ,

Dr. Lee
