Dear Partner

Today is Christmas Eve. Of course this is not the correct date for it to be celebrated. It should be celebrated on the Jewish lunar day of their Passover feast. This date will next occur on March 25, 2024.

Dr. Violeta and I, along with Rapha staff, wish you a merry Christmas. We are blessed to have all our children with us except for 2 grandsons, one away in ministry and the other is the US Air Force in England. 

We pray that you will experience one of the most blessed Christmasses ever and enjoy the day with. your loved ones and friends. Let all of us in Rapha join in the spirit and pray for those who are alone with only memories. We pray that God will show them mercy and give them a measure of peace.

I hope on Christmas Day that we will focus primarily on the occasion that this day represents which is the first of a two-part greatest happening in history.  For this was the day when God in His totality became flesh and "dwelt among men."

My personal prayer is one of thanksgiving for you and your standing with Rapha as we give forth the promises of God to a hurting world. We as children of God can understand and experience a special blessing as we celebrate His birth. God the Holy Spirit will use Christmas Day to give us individually a measure of joy and peace that the world cannot experience. 

As you reflect, as most of us do on Christmas, please feel our Christian family in close harmony with every Christian around the world. As we reflect on this special day, let us experience the resounding joy that begins when the day starts in England and passes through every awakening time zone until it circles the earth to return again to its place of origin.
